today was the first day that students could vote in their student government election here at uw-madison. it also happens to be the year that uw-madison needs to renew their membership with united council through referendum. i have to say.... so far, so good.
i spent today flyering on campus, putting posters up and preparing door hangers/t-shirts for tomorrow. good times with the united council staff! we even ate mediterranian and mexican food! there are a lot of options, especially on state street!
there are two days left of voting. excited for whats to come... including wisconsin cheese, a bar where everything is locally grown and a trip to walgreens. =) special thanks to a. ware, gayle & brei and company for letting me stay at their places while i have been in town.
time for bed,
greg
